Developing Higher Order Thinking Laboratory (Hot-Lab) to Promote General Scientific Reasoning of Student-Teachers in Physics Practices

This study aims to develop physics practicum guidelines that can improve students' scientific reasoning. The development of in this was based on the principles Higher Order Thinking Laboratory (HOT-Lab). Using ADDIE design, which consists five stages: analyze, develop, implement, and evaluate, general are developed three parts, namely pre-practicum, lab, post-practicum. participants involved consisted two groups: experts 88 students taking courses. pre-practicum stage is part distinguishes guideline from conventional guidelines, where presented with "real-world problems" opportunities make hypotheses. results showed products were deemed feasible effective for developing shows reasoning using HOT-Lab significantly higher than those who use guidelines.
